Was privatisation a mistake?

On 20 December 2010, the essay, 'Was the privatisation of our major airports a mistake'? was published in The Daily Telegraph:

This was my reply:

"'Was the privatisation of our major airports a mistake'?

Was the theft of what once belonged to all of us by the politician at the behest of the international financier and the PC Crowd a mistake? Is globalisation and the New World Order an attack upon the Nation State? Is mass immigration an attack upon the indigenous? Are you who haven't figured these things out yet a disgrace to your ancestors, your children and your grandchildren?

Grow the f*** up, you soft, weak, dumbed-down, drugged up, decadent and degenerate clowns!'

'Lessons must be learnt from Heathrow chaos.'

'As regards the lesson that ought to be learned from privatisation, (the handing over of what once belonged to all of us to the already rich) here's a lesson the Thatcherite, the Blairite and the Brownite learned long ago: when the wallets of the wealthy are weighed against the needs of the general public, the wallet wins every time'."
Oh, and the answer to the original question is, yes.
