Not a man one would trust

On 24 October 2011, Simon Richards, Director of The Freedom Association, said this in The Daily Mail:

“Their decision to place 3-line whips against voting for an EU referendum demonstrates, more clearly than ever, the breathtaking contempt with which the Prime Minister, Clegg and Miliband treat their voters, their MPs and their country…

Clegg, the millionaire Eurofanatic… has form in this area… Yet again, the LibDems have put their slavish loyalty to the hated EU above the views of their own dwindling and disillusioned band of voters…

Miliband… is, let's be honest, NOT A MAN ONE WOULD TRUST in a millennium of Sundays. Faced with an opportunity to stand up for democracy and allow a free vote on an EU referendum, he, like Kinnock, another pitifully inadequate Labour leader before him, has shown where his true loyalties lie. I can at least understand his motivation, as he is probably already thinking about a a cushy job at the EU Commission and a fat pension to sustain him when his political career ends in ruins, as it surely will. BRUSSELS PROVIDES THE BEST RETIREMENT HOME IN EUROPE FOR FAILED POLITICIANS READY TO PUT THEIR OWN INTERESTS ABOVE THEIR COUNTRY'S.

But, as Prime Minister, it is, inevitably, Cameron who must shoulder the main blame for the quite disgraceful way in which he has behaved over the EU referendum. Remember that this vote has only come about as a result of his own agreement to allow discussion of issues supported by petitions of over 100,000 people. But, of course, Cameron has previous form. HIS 'CAST-IRON GUARANTEE' OF A REFERENDUM ON THE LISBON TREATY PROVED TO BE WORTHLESS…

Some have compared Cameron to Heath. That is unfair; Heath won a thumping General Election victory in 1970, whereas Cameron missed an open goal last year against the massively unpopular Gordon Brown. Heath never failed to proclaim his adherence to the EU; CAMERON, THE SERIAL LIAR, CLAIMS TO BE A EUROSCEPTIC WHILST ALWAYS PUTTING THE EU'S INTERESTS ABOVE THOSE OF HIS OWN COUNTRY.

The EU referendum vote this week will be lost, because CAMERON, CLEGG AND MILIBAND HAVE USED CHEATING AND BULLY BOY TACTICS TO RIG IT. But it will be only the first battle in what will be a long war TO REGAIN THE FREEDOM, DEMOCRACY, INDEPENDENCE AND PROSPERITY THAT OUR GUILTY POLITICAL 'LEADERS' HAVE SIGNED AWAY TO BRUSSELS.”

On 2 June 2009, this was Cameron's message to those about to vote in the EU elections:

“In 2005, all of the major political parties promised a REFERENDUM on the European Constitution. Why does this matter? Why do WE NEED A REFERENDUM and why do we need one now?…

The European Constitution, now called the Lisbon treaty, includes A MASSIVE TRANSFER OF POWERS FROM THE NATION STATES OF EUROPE TO BRUSSELS. IT ENDS OUR VETO. Our right to say no in about 60 AREAS. IT SETS UP A PERMANENT PRESIDENT OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, A FOREIGN MINISTER, A DIPLOMATIC SERVICE. IT GIVES THE EUROPEAN UNION THE RIGHT TO SIGN TREATIES AND TO PASS NEW TREATIES, NEW CONSTITUTIONS, WITHOUT ASKING US AGAIN, THE PEOPLE OF EUROPE. That’s why it’s important, That’s why it matters…

I think we need powers to come back from Brussels to the nation states rather than the other was around. Why do we need a REFERENDUM? I think when our parliament is giving up powers, is passing powers to someone else, THEY SHOULD ASK US FIRST, THE PEOPLE, IN A REFERENDUM...

You can use June 4, the Euopean Elections, to DEMAND A REFERENDUM from Gordon Brown. THE REFERENDUM HE PROMISED, ALONG WITH EVERYONE ELSE, back in 2005. THE BEST WAY TO GET THAT REFERENDUM IS TO VOTE CONSERVATIVE...

Today we are publishing the bill, the parliamentary bill, that could go through parliament right now in the Autumn… That’s what should happen.

This is being done in your name. DON’T YOU THINK ALL OF US SHOULD HAVE A SAY IN THE REFERENDUM THAT WE WERE PROMISED?” Cameron Lied
Oh, we do, Dave, we really do. However, the best way to get that referendum is most definitely NOT to vote Conservative. Their leader is a liar, ‘along with everyone else’. Everyone else being the leadership of the Labour Party, the Lib Dems and 99 percent of the foreigner-fondlers who vote for them. They promised a referendum. When they had the chance to honour their promises, they did not do so.

Cameron offered us his unequivocal pledge immediately prior to the last European elections. Which is, of course, instructive. Before an election they will promise the earth, after it, that little bit of the earth you thought was already yours begins to disappear.

Believe the promises that ooze out of a mainstream politician at your peril, folks. If you want to be bossed around by Brussels forever and ever, Amen, vote for the usual suspects. If you want a referendum, however, you should consider voting for UKIP, the BNP or any other Nationalist party.

In an interview for BBC Radio 4’s Today programme on the same day Cameron acknowledged the EU's ‘ENDLESS PROCESS OF BUILDING A SUPERSTATE’. (Just in case you didn't realise the Camerons have ALWAYS known precisely what the project was always all about)
