Political bigshots in the form of Bill and Senator Hilary Clinton put in an appearance, as did former US vice-president, Al Gore, and the Israeli vice-premier, Shimon Peres. Senator John McCain, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and the ubiquitous, aren't-I-wonderful pop star, Bono, were seen speechifying to the assembled luvvies.
Oh, and who was it that made the keynote speech at the elitefest of Zion's top gun tycoon? Ah yes. That would have been the little drummer boy himself. Tony Blair took the podium, at the highpoint of News Corporation's annual bash, to do homage to his Lord and Master's worldview.
On 29 July 2006, The Independent reported thus:

The March 1999, issue of the International Socialism Journal stated:

It was to entertain such people that he used the loan to buy himself a half million pound house in London's Notting Hill…
Mandelson is the most hated man inside the Labour Party… When it was suggested soon after his resignation that he would return to cabinet within the current parliament there was uproar in the Parliamentary Labour Party. There has still been no adequate explanation of how Mandelson has financed his expensive lifestyle on an MP's salary…
Tim Allan, former Blair press adviser in Downing Street, is now a boss of Murdoch's BSkyB. Benjamin Wegg-Prosser, adviser to Peter Mandelson, rapidly found new employment as assistant to the editor of Murdoch's Sun."

This magazine gave the pro-Israeli hawks in Washington a stentorian voice within US establishment circles. Subsequently, many of the major contributors to The Standard managed to insinuate themselves into the heart of George Bush’s government, where they were able to 'advise' a cerebrally challenged President of the necessity of a war with Iraq after the 9/11 disaster. From this point on, the whole of Murdoch's massive world-wide media empire geared itself up for war and the imperialist agenda of the US-Jewish Neocons was pushed remorselessly.
Murdoch’s progression in the media was due to the financial and political support of various enormously powerful Jews. Harry Oppenheimer and Edgar Bronfman, in particular, were crucial supporters of his rise to power. Armand Hammer and the Rothschilds are also said to have greased the wheels behind the scenes.
The Czechoslovakian bandit, Robert Maxwell, who was, of course, Jewish, owned The Mirror and a ton of other stuff, and Sir Victor Blank, who is also a Jew, was the current Chairman of The Mirror Group last times I looked.
Michael Grade (Winogradsky) is the Chairman of the BBC. He was also the second boss of Channel 4. His fellow Jew, Jeremy Isaacs, was the first.
The Italian Jew, Vanni Treves was installed as Chairman of Channel 4 in January 1998. He remained in this position for the next six years. He is a Tony Crony and a major monetary contributor to the New Labour cause. He was also, at one time, the Chairman of Saatchi & Saatchi.
David Elstein was the first top bloke at Channel 5. Interestingly he wrote and co-produced several episodes of The World at War for that seminal documentary's producer, the aforementioned Jeremy Isaacs.
The Jew, Clive Hollick, another major New Labour donor, was the second Director of Channel 5. He was also the Chairman and a major shareholder in Express Newspapers from 1998 to 2000, which was sold later to another Jew, Richard Desmond, after Desmond had given a £100,000 bung to Tony Blair for his 'private offices.'
The Jew, Michael Green, was the founder and Chairman of Carlton Communications in 1983 and was its Chairman until 2003. Green was also a Director of ITN .
In 2003, after the disastrous failure of their joint venture, ITV Digital, Green and Steve Morrison, who is also Jewish, were ousted from their positions as Chairmen of Carlton and Granada. Morrison was the Chief Executive of Granada from 1996 until 2003.
I'm not sure what the Jewess, Jenny Abramsky, is doing now but she was the long-time Director of BBC Radio and Music until recently.
The list of top media Jews really is a thousand light years long, folks.
P.S. Newscorp Investments, Murdoch's parent company, has effectively paid no tax in the UK since 1988.
