Stone me!

On 27 May 2013, Baron Norman Tebbit, Secretary of State for Employment and Trade and Industry and Chairman of the Conservative Party under Margaret Thatcher, said this in The Telegraph:
"The roots of the the murder of Lee Rigby stretch a long way back into our immigration policy, the doctrine of multiculturalism, the failures in our education system, and the war against Iraq."
‘Immigration,’ ‘multiculturalism’ and ‘Iraq’ were responsible for Lee’s death? Stone me! An honest politician? Whatever next?

On 27 May 2013, Dame Stella Rimington, former head of MI5, also said this in The Telegraph:

“There have often been indications in the community, whether it’s Muslim or anywhere else, that people are becoming extremists and spouting hate phrases, where there were all these posters up saying the walls have ears and the enemy is everywhere.”

‘The enemy is everywhere?’ Stone me! An honest Secret Policewoman? Whatever next?

On 27 May 2013, Richard Littlejohn said this in The Daily Mail:

“Public outrage is, if anything, even greater over the barbaric killing of Lee Rigby than it was after other terrorist atrocities which claimed far more lives. That outrage, however, is not confined just to the perpetrators. It is also directed at a complacent political class which not only allowed but encouraged Islamist extremism to flourish in Britain…

Cameron was a PR man before he went into politics full-time. Some people would say he still is. So you’d think he, of all people, would appreciate how his decision to spend the Bank Holiday on Ibiza while they are still mopping up the blood in South London would play out with the paying public.

Maybe he simply couldn’t give a monkey’s what people think any more, which reinforces my belief that he’s in it for five years before going off to make some serious money, like his hero Tony Blair.”

‘Not only allowed but ENCOURAGED Islamist extremism to flourish in Britain?’ Stone me! An honest journalist? Whatever next?

It appears that a verity pandemic is currently bedevilling the top table. Drastic measures may soon be needed to prevent this from spreading.
Everyone knows that the unvarnished truth can often proves fatal to the political class, habituated as it is to spin, lies and obfuscation.
