You're dead, you deserve to be dead!

In August 2014, after a TMZ reporter told Jewish comedienne, Joan Rivers, that almost 2,000 Palestinians had been killed by the IDF in Gaza, she responded thus:

“Oh my God! Tell that to the people in Hiroshima... Good. Good. When you declare war, you declare war. They started it. We now don't count who's dead. You're dead, you deserve to be dead. You started it! You started it! Don’t you dare make me feel bad about that...

Hamas... they are terrorists... They were re-elected by a lot of very stupid people who don't even own a pencil!

They were told to get out. They didn’t get out. You don’t get out, you are an idiot. At least the ones that were killed were the ones with low IQs.”

In July 2014, Rivers had previously said this regarding the same issue:

“Let me tell you, if New Jersey were firing rockets into New York, we would wipe them out. If we heard they were digging tunnels from New Jersey to New York, we would get rid of Jersey...

Don’t you dare put weapon stashes in private homes and then we say get out, of course we’re going to do it.”

Asked where Palestinian civilians could go to flee the attacks, she added:

“I don’t care. They started it. You’re all insane. They started it! What are you all saying? They started it!”

Actually, Joan, they didn't start it.

The current conflict began when Israel began arresting Palestinians en masse after 3 Israeli youths were murdered. They blamed Hamas knowing that they were not responsible and acted accordingly.

Prior to this, Israel's 8-year blockade and containment of Gaza (with Egyptian help) was never going to impress the imprisoned multitudes.

And then Israel ethncially cleansed 700,000 indigenous Palestinians out of their own ancient stamping grounds in 1948.

All this and 66 years of harassment, to the point of routine murder in 'peacetime,' and you end up with a cauldron full of boiling hatred that isn't going to go away any time soon.

If the hate-filled decide, at some point, to wreak revenge upon those who slaughtered their kinfolk with such relish, I hope they go after the demonstrably guilty, not the relatively innocent.

I doubt that anyone would describe the botoxed crone cited above as innocent.

Nasty, vicious, maniacally unsympathetic perhaps.

But never innocent.
