The war recovery

On 31 October 2010, David S. Broder wrote this in The Washington Post:

"When the midterm election cycle began, the prevailing opinion was that Barack Obama was cleverer and more inspirational than anyone else on the scene... In what respects is he enduringly superior? Let's start with the basics. He is much smarter than his challengers... to win a second term in 2012. He is that much better than the competition.

In what respects is he enduringly superior? Let's start with the basics. He is much smarter than his challengers in either party, better able to read the evidence AND COME TO THE RIGHT CONCLUSIONS...
Can Obama harness the forces that might spur new growth? This is the key question for the next two years. What are those forces? Essentially, there are two. One is the power of the business cycle, the tidal force that throughout history has dictated when the economy expands and when it contracts…

In this regard, Obama has no advantage over any other... Even in analyzing the tidal force correctly, he cannot control it."
Oh no, you can't control that, Barack, old boy.

The Broders boss the economy and the business cycle. Whatever you do, you must, under no circumstances, interfere with what is rightfully theirs. Lincoln, JFK and Saddam Hussein were all planning to and look what happened to them!

"What else might affect the economy? THE ANSWER IS OBVIOUS, but its implications are frightening. WAR AND PEACE INFLUENCE THE ECONOMY.

Look back at FDR and the Great Depression. What finally resolved that economic crisis? WORLD WAR II...

With strong Republican support in Congress for challenging Iran's ambition to become a nuclear power, HE CAN SPEND MUCH OF 2011 AND 2012 ORCHESTRATING A SHOWDOWN WITH THE MULLAHS. THIS WILL HELP HIM POLITICALLY BECAUSE THE OPPOSITION PARTY WILL BE URGING HIM ON. AND AS TENSIONS RISE AND WE ACCELERATE PREPARATIONS FOR WAR, THE ECONOMY WILL IMPROVE.

I am not suggesting, of course, that the President incite a war to get reelected. But the nation will rally around Obama because IRAN IS THE GREATEST THREAT TO THE WORLD in the young century. IF HE CAN CONFRONT THIS THREAT AND CONTAIN IRAN'S NUCLEAR AMBITIONS, HE WILL HAVE MADE THE WORLD SAFER AND MAY BE REGARDED AS ONE OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL PRESIDENTS IN HISTORY." The war recovery?
'He is much... better able to read the evidence and come to the right conclusions.'

Let me guess, those conclusions would be exactly similar to those you and and your kinfolk espouse! Am I wrong?

'What else might affect the economy? The answer is obvious.'

Only to a warmonger, David.

'I am not suggesting, of course, that the president incite a war to get reelected.'

Oh, I think you are, David. I think that is precisely what you are suggesting.

'The nation will rally around Obama.'

Will it? The military-industrial complex, the media Barons and the international financiers will but, after Iraq, do you imagine the dumbed-down grunts who fight your wars are as ignorant as they usually are?

'Iran is the greatest threat to the world.'

Oh no, Broder, old beast, the greatest threat would be you and your brutish Neanderthal kinfolk. So very many realise this now.

'If he can confront this threat.'

Threat to whom? You maybe. Not to us though. Iran never foist the race laws, political correctness, mass immigration, non-stop media propaganda and the world-wide recession upon us. It was your lot who did that, Dave.

'He will have made the world safer.'

If he takes America into Iran to fight another war for the Jews the world will be a safer place? Neanderthal AND nuts! And yet these madmen rule! Why? Because they are conscienceless and utterly without any kind of moral scruple when dealing with any but their own. It gives them a head start over everyone else.

'He may be regarded as one of the most successful presidents in history.'

If he does what they want, by demonic Jews and the bought-and-paid-for Shabbos Goy, perhaps. Knowing what we know now, very few others would consider him thus. Just as the David Salzer Broders so often have, you can bet your life on that.
