An expectation too far

On 9 June 2009, Patrick O'Flynn wrote this in The Daily Express:

“THE LABOUR PARTY THAT HAS ABANDONED THE BRITISH WORKING CLASS in a process of disengagement that has taken place over decades…

ITS POLICIES HAVE UNDERMINED WORKING-CLASS AMBITION, REFUSED TO PUNISH PROPERLY THE CRIMINALITY THAT PLAGUES WORKING-CLASS NEIGHBOURHOODS, RIGGED THE JOBS MARKET AGAINST INDIGENOUS WORKERS, ENCOURAGED EXCESSIVE IMMIGRATION AND DOWNGRADED PATRIOTISM – REPLACING IT WITH THE DISASTROUS IDEOLOGY OF MULTICULTURALISM...

SINGLE MOTHERHOOD HAS BECOME THE GATEWAY TO A PLETHORA OF BENEFITS THAT RENDER WORKING-CLASS FATHERS MORE TROUBLE THAN THEY ARE WORTH... THE ABOLITION OF GRAMMAR SCHOOLS, THE DILUTION OF HEADTEACHERS’ DISCIPLINARY POWERS, THE APPLICATION OF ‘TRENDY’ TEACHING IN UNSTREAMED CLASSES AND LABOUR’S REFUSAL TO COUNTENANCE AN EXTENSION OF PARENTAL CHOICE HAS TURNED MANY URBAN STATE SCHOOLS INTO EDUCATIONAL WASTELANDS.

How telling that the day the BNP’s election success was announced, a study showed that white working-class boys achieve the worst educational outcomes of any social group… Many of the areas that saw a rise in the BNP vote have also borne the brunt of excessive immigration. LABOUR’S BELIEF IN MULTICULTURALISM HAS LED TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF GHETTOS POPULATED BY NON-INTEGRATED ETHNIC GROUPS FROM THE THIRD WORLD. THEY HAVE PROVIDED UNWELCOME COMPETITION FOR PUBLIC RESOURCES WHILE PROMOTING COMPETING BELIEFS AND VALUES. IN RECENT YEARS ELEMENTS WITHIN THEM HAVE TURNED TO TERRORISM IN A BID TO DESTROY THE BRITISH WAY OF LIFE. THOSE WHO WARNED OF THE DIRE CONSEQUENCES OF MULTICULTURALISM A GENERATION AGO, LIKE THE FORMER BRADFORD HEAD TEACHER RAY HONEYFORD, WERE HOWLED DOWN AS ‘RACISTS’, A TACTIC LABOUR HAS USED AGAINST MIGRATION SCEPTICS EVER SINCE.

Meanwhile, Gordon Brown’s refusal to impose transitional controls on immigrants from the European Union accession countries has led to a catastrophic loss of jobs and falling pay rates for British tradesmen despite his promise of ‘BRITISH JOBS FOR BRITISH WORKERS’. Indigenous workers have had to compete with hordes of young Eastern Europeans who are content to live six to a room to minimise housing costs, while being available for unlimited overtime because their families are back home east of the Rhine...

To add insult to injury, LABOUR PARTY INTELLECTUALS HAVE ALL BUT ABANDONED BELIEF IN THE NATION STATE, PURSUING INSTEAD A DOCTRINE OF ‘GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP’ THAT HOLDS THAT WE ARE AS OBLIGED TO FIGHT POVERTY IN AFRICA AS IN BRITAIN. This has led to THE FETISHISING OF FOREIGN AID – A MEANS OF TRANSFERRING MONEY FROM POOR PEOPLE IN RICH COUNTRIES TO RICH PEOPLE IN POOR COUNTRIES, to the extent that even the Tories now guarantee it will be one area immune from public spending cuts.

Labour has also downgraded its fight against class inequalities, preferring to concentrate on rooting out ‘oppression’ BASED ON GENDER OR RACE.

THE DAUGHTER OF AN AFRICAN PRINCE, AFTER BEING PUT THROUGH A BRILLIANT PUBLIC SCHOOL IN ENGLAND, WILL FIND THAT ‘AFFIRMATIVE ACTION’ OPENS ALL KINDS OF CAREER DOORS THAT REMAIN SHUT TO THE WHITE SON OF A WORKING-CLASS FAMILY FROM A COUNCIL ESTATE...

So acutely is Labour failing its traditional supporters that it is now possible to envisage a BNP breakthrough at Westminster within 10 years.”
Oh yes, ladies and gents, even the media darlings are daring to state the stone bl**ding obvious these days. Even they are choosing to say the things they used to condemn the British Nationalist for saying. However, encouraging though it certainly is to have such Nationalistic truth voiced so boldly in the mainstream, not only are writers like O’Flynn still refusing to acknowledge the origin of the sentiments they now purport to espouse, they continue to vilify Nationalism as they parade their own new-fangled Nationalist credentials. To whit:

'The odious BNP', 'we shudder at the sight of BNP leader Nick Griffin punching the air in triumph', 'an avowedly racist party', and 'the shocking election of two BNP Euro-MPs'. O’Flynn cynically describes the BNP thus, despite being well aware that the whole of the BNP’s membership would applaud him for the rest of his article.

The media darling is to be congratulated for daring to tell the truth nowadays. However, should you ask him to credit the Nationalist for having dared to say the same thing decades before, you will provoke all the usual insults and smears.

The Establishment may now realise that honesty could be, for a while at least, the best policy, but, after a career-long romance with spin, propaganda and downright lies, to expect them to relinquish every tool in the New World Order’s deceitful tool-box all at once is, perhaps, an expectation to far.
